We sell e-bikes and cycling goods in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use and share information, your choices, and your rights. By using our website or contacting us, you agree to this Policy.

1) What we collect

  • Identifiers & contact data – name, email, phone number, billing/shipping address, order IDs.

  • Commercial data – items viewed, cart contents, purchases, returns, support history.

  • Payment data – last-4 card digits, payment status (payment processing is handled by our PCI-compliant providers; we do not store full card numbers).

  • Device/usage data – IP address, browser, pages viewed, referral/UTM, and general location derived from IP.

  • Cookies & similar tech – for core site functions (cart, checkout), analytics, fraud prevention, and (if enabled) advertising measurement. See Sections 4–5.

2) How we use information

  • Order processing & customer support (fulfillment, delivery status, warranty, returns).

  • Site operations & security (debugging, preventing fraud/abuse).

  • Analytics & performance (to understand pages, funnels, and product interest).

  • Marketing (where permitted) – service emails (order confirmations, shipping), and optional promotional messages you can unsubscribe from anytime.

When we use Google services (e.g., Analytics/Ads), Google may process data as an independent party according to its policies describing how information from partner sites is used.

3) When we share information

We share limited data with:

  • Service providers (e.g., payment processors, fraud tools, shipping carriers, email/SMS providers) under contracts that restrict their use of the data.

  • Analytics & ad tech (if enabled) to measure performance and improve our site.

  • Legal/compliance (to comply with law, enforce policies, or protect rights/safety).

We do not sell personal information for money. If we engage in “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, you can opt out (Section 7).

4) Cookies & consent

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the store (cart/checkout), keep your session, and to measure performance. If we show personalized ads or use ad-related cookies for users in the EEA/UK/Switzerland, we obtain legally valid consent consistent with Google’s EU User Consent Policy and applicable law.

5) Analytics, ads & your choices

  • Google Analytics. You can install Google’s Analytics Opt-Out browser add-on and/or adjust your ad personalization settings with Google.

  • Browser controls. You can block/clear cookies in your browser. Some features (like the cart) may not work without necessary cookies.

6) Data retention & security

We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above (for example, tax/accounting retention for orders) and then delete or de-identify it. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data, but no method is 100% secure.

7) U.S. state privacy rights (including California)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, know, port, and to opt out of certain processing (such as “selling” or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising). California’s CCPA/CPRA provides these rights and created the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA).

Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a GPC signal, and we engage in activities covered by California law, we will treat GPC as a valid opt-out of sale/share for that browser.

How to exercise your rights (U.S.).

Email support@miamibikexperience.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and tell us which right(s) you wish to exercise. We will verify your request and respond as the law requires. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority. If applicable, you may also use a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on our site (when provided).

We do not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

8) EEA/UK visitors (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA/UK, our legal bases include contract (to fulfill orders), legitimate interests (e.g., site security, product improvement), consent (for analytics/ads cookies where required), and legal obligation (e.g., tax). You may have GDPR rights to access, delete, correct, port, and object/restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@miamibikexperience.com

9) Children’s privacy

Our site is for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided us data, contact us and we will delete it as required by COPPA.

10) International transfers

If we transfer data internationally (for example, to service providers), we will use appropriate safeguards permitted by applicable law.

11) Third-party links & sites

Our site may link to third-party websites or services we don’t control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

12) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
